Givenchy New Impressions Spring-Summer 2010 Makeup Collection

Lip Glosses from Givenchy

In August, Givenchy is making its fans jumping for joy with a new lip gloss Gloss Interdit. Ambassador for the gloss is no other than Liv Tyler. The novelty is distinguished by a lavish range of shades and an ultra light translucent texture which feels very comfy on the lips. In addition, like any modern product, the new lip gloss is intended both for beautiful look and tender care.

The pearlescent and mirror-like particles in the formula give a spectacular shine to the lips. Lip gloss contains hyaluronic acid for moisturizing and filling in lines. Besides, new formula includes camellia oil and castor oil. Liquid polymers and light ethers allow for easy application.

What completes the range of all the novelty’s advantages is a pleasant smell featuring the notes of bergamot, litchi, and red fruit, rose, jasmine, and, vanilla.

Givenchy Fall 2009 Makeup Collection

In August, Givenchy fall makeup line is hitting the counters. And the name of the collection, Les Poetique, speaks for it. The creators behind the collection believe tenderness, poetry and romantism would suit any girl this fall. The line is centered around pink color.
Two nine-color eye shadow palettes is the collection’s highlight, although they are available in limited editions. Poetique Browns and Poetique Blues feature all the colors even the most romantic girl would look for this fall.

Makeup base Acti’mine also comes in a limited shade Poetique Tulip. The base applies smooth and envelops the face into flower-like brightness.

Another limited edition is a loose powder quartet Prisme Libre, combining apricot, pink, yellow and white hues. This tender palette can be used as rouge or for correcting face contour with lighter hues.

The mascara Phenomen’Eyes in the fall collection comes in a new shade Poetique Grey Lavender.

The eye liner Prad’Eyes Liner will be intense light blue (Poetique Lavander).

Givenchy Spring-Summer Makeup Collection

Michaela Kocianova, 20-year-old model from Slovakia, became the face of the makeup spring-summer collection from the top designer brand Givenchy. Mica works for the One modeling agency; her career path includes runway shows for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, plus in 2007 she was invited to take part in the astonishing show of Victoria’s Secret.
The collection itself is filled with color. Nicolas Degennes, makeup director at Givenchy, was inspired by the ever-blossoming India and decided to “dress-up” his makeup into sari. Palettes of Prismissime Visage for tanned and pale skin will be released in limited edition.

Blush Sari Glow Iridescent is filled with insane colors, such as bright pink and orange.

Nail polish collection with intriguing name Vernis Please! will have some very interesting colors.

The spring collection will offer liquid eyeshadows called Precious Sari Glitter, which will come in silver and golden shades. Soft ultra-black eye-pencil will provide intensive eye-lining.

Lipstick, Rouge Interdit, will also come in two colors and in quite original package as well.
